Re-certification courses are ONLY A REVIEW of the test procedures. Participants are expected to be experienced in conducting all appropriate test procedures.

The fee for Recertification courses is the same as for an "Full" Certification.

Failure on the Recertification exams will necessitate attendance at a regularly scheduled "Full" Certification course.

Individuals may choose to attend a "Full" certification course rather than attend the Review course for recertification.

Soils CTTP 97-012

This course requires the use of the nuclear density gauge; each participant must show evidence of having attended a radiation safety course, and provide their own radiation dosimeter; failure to do so will result in the person being ineligible for the course.

This course REVIEWS laboratory and field tests related to earthwork. The procedures covered are those prescribed by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) Standard Specifications for Highway Construction (2003 Edition).

The 2-day course includes a review of pertinent tests, a written exam, and a performance exam.
